The Climate Council Organised by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Has Started

The Climate Council, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change between February 21-25, started in Konya.

Strategic targets will be determined together with the meetings where Turkey’s fight against climate change will be discussed. The title of the 7 commissions to be realized is as follows:

  • GHG reduction in energy, industry and transport
  • GHG reduction in agriculture, waste, buildings and LULUCF (Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry)
  • Green finance and carbon pricing
  • Adaptation to climate change
  • Local governments
  • Migration and social policies
  • Science and technology
